Popular book or series that you did not enjoy: A Wrinkle in Time by
Madeleine L’Engle
This is a middle grade book that I heard great this
about but when I read it I just did not like it at all. It was boring, tedious
and I had to force myself to finish it.

Popular book or series that everyone seems to hate but you love: Of Mice
and Men by John Steinbeck
I’m not saying that everyone hates this book but I
feel like this is one of those books that we were forced to read in high school
and just because it was enforced we sort of wanted to rebel and got back to
reading Harry Potter, do you know what I mean?

A love triangle where the main character did not end up with the love
interest that you wanted: The Hunger Games
*SPOILER ALERT*
Do I even have to say it? Team Gale all the way!

A popular genre that you never read: Fantasy
Let’s just say that the most fantasy-ish books I have
read are Harry Potter. It’s just not my genre. I’m more of a classics and
historical fiction type of girl.

A popular character that you do not like: Margo from Paper Towns be John
Green
I cannot find words to describe how much I loathe
Margo. She’s entitled and obnoxious and the main reason I didn’t love that
book.

A popular author that you cannot get into: E. L. James
I tried but the voices of her characters are just
stupid. I don’t know how else to describe it. Every scene makes me laugh at how
vapid it is instead of making me fall in love with the characters or the story.

A book trope that you are tired of seeing: Dystopian novels revolving
around teenagers killing themselves and saving the world.

A popular book series that you have no interest in reading: the Shadow
Hunters trilogy

What book to T.V. or movie adaptation is actually better than the work
it’s based off of: The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum
This was one of my favorite movies growing up and it
still is. I know practically every song by heart, but when reading the book I had
to force myself to finish. It actually took me three tries to read it all the
way through! I was expecting to love it and it was just so boring. I’m truly sad
to admit this; I really really wanted to love this book.
