Looking for Alaska by John Green
There was a time when everyone and I mean EVERYONE was
reading this book. This is my favorite John Green book mainly becase it made me
think. This is definitely a book that strongly depends on being read at the
right time, thankfulle I believe it was the right stage of my life for me to
read this.
·
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
This is another book that exploded on BookTube. I
loved that this wasn’t the typical ‘boy meets girl and they live happily ever
after’ love story; and its set in the 80’s so extra points for that!
·
Night by Elie Wiesel
This is a book that John Green recommended in one of
his vlogbrothers videos so I picked it up and LOVED it. As it is also in the
RGRC list there should be a review up soon!
·
La Noche que Frankenstein leyó el
Quijote by Santiago Posteguillo
This is a book by a Spanish autor that I first saw in
a Mexican booktuber’s video. The title intrigued me so I looked it up on
Goodreads and I have to say that after reading this it has become one of my
favorite books of all time. It’s so quick and easy to read and yet soooo
interesting. I highly recommended.
·
Legend by Marie Lu
I saw this book in many videos and it sounded like a
fun read. This trilogy is definitely a page turner. It manages to be a typical dystopian
story yet atypical and unique at the same time.
If you want a review on any of the books listed above
please leave a comment and let me know!
Happy reading,
