In this 109 page novel Weisel give us a soul-crushing, heart-wrenching
yet uplifting story. The book may be short but it is definitely not simple.
This World War II narrative is so real, you can’t help but feel like you are a
part of it. You feel like the characters’ desperation, helplessness and defeat.
You are with them at every step, with every blow to the head. Night is a
most-read.
the book truly did tell a wonderful story but lacked some details that he later mentioned had been removed after a third revision. but over Wiesel did write and share the heartbreaking reality behind the Holocaust when the whole world previously thought that the jew were not being abused, so it gave an inside view of a hidden story.
